Distribution Specialist Trainer - Vegas

Salary: $47,860–$54,912 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Assist with initial training, certification, and recertification for full-time, new-hire, and contingent distribution center workers.
• Train associates on procedures for Shipping, Picking, Receiving, and other Distribution Specialist positions.
• Document findings, provide feedback to area Coaches, and communicate associate concerns and suggestions to management.
• Support new-hire performance evaluations and provide input for employment retention decisions.
• Gather information and audit written training and SOP documentation for accuracy and process improvements.
• Support facility programs and metrics covering quality, safety, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, LPH, and CPH.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus one to two years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with management and associates.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, solve problems, influence others, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related Microsoft Office functions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when training associates across shifts.
• Ability to maintain company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Forklift Certified Trainer certification.
• Harness Training certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
