Warehouse Training Specialist

Location: Racine, Wisconsin, with travel to all distribution centers and possibly surrounding branches

What you will do

• Support training for distribution center and warehouse employees across roles from clerk and receiver to driver.
• Deliver onboarding, classroom, warehouse, and on-the-job training.
• Monitor and track training progress against onboarding milestones.
• Mentor employees, identify high-potential new hires, and provide constructive feedback.
• Partner with subject matter experts to keep Crescent Electric Training Guide content accurate and current.
• Travel between distribution centers and surrounding branches, including overnight stays.

Requirements

• Associate degree in operations, training, or a related field, or two years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least one year of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• At least six months of experience in a training or lead capacity.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to present training to employees at all organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, organization, feedback, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability and means to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
