Senior Fund Accountant - Private Markets

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: CAD 72,000–CAD 105,600 per year

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services for private markets clients, including NAV preparation, accrual booking, security pricing, and cash and position reconciliations.
• Price portfolio holdings in line with fund documents and valuation policies.
• Prepare capital call, distribution, management fee, waterfall, and investor allocation calculations.
• Prepare NAV packages and other deliverables defined in service level agreements.
• Support audited financial statements, audit requests, regulatory services, and ad hoc projects.
• Communicate with internal teams and external clients to meet deliverables and requests.

Requirements

• Prior fund accounting experience is desired but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• A university degree or professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is considered an asset.
• Ability to work in the Toronto hybrid arrangement.
