Senior Associate Director, Fund Administration (Fund Administration)

What you will do

• Manage a team of fund accountants responsible for NAV production, financial statements, and client reports.
• Own client relationships, act as an escalation point, and resolve queries while maintaining client satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of client work in line with service-level agreements.
• Lead team training, engagement, resource coordination, cross-training, and coverage planning.
• Oversee audits, financial statement preparation or review, SOC1 controls, checklists, billing, and collections.
• Manage client margins, staff utilization, relationship risk reviews, incidents, and process or technology improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or a university degree in finance or accounting.
• At least five years of experience in fund administration in a similar role.
• Excellent people management experience.
• Experience may include work with fund administrators, investment managers, or fund auditors.
• Ability to manage client deliverables, operational controls, audit processes, and service-level deadlines.

Nice to have

• Completed or ongoing professional accounting designation such as CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CFA.
