Head of Endpoint Defense (Cybersecurity)

Location: Dallas, United States

Salary: $115,080–$218,520 annually in the U.S.; location-specific ranges may apply, including up to $262,320 in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City.

What you will do

• Own operations, health, policy, and configuration for the endpoint defense estate, including Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Trend Micro, and related tooling.
• Drive agent deployment, fleet coverage, configuration integrity, and endpoint telemetry quality.
• Tune prevention and detection policies with Cyber Defense and SIEM/SOAR teams.
• Rationalize the multi-vendor endpoint stack and integrate endpoint signals into XSIAM and the detection pipeline.
• Support incident response through endpoint containment, isolation, remediation, and forensic data collection.
• Lead the endpoint defense team and establish KPIs for coverage, health, prevention efficacy, telemetry, containment, and remediation.

Requirements

• Mastery of security tools and technologies, including endpoint security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Deep understanding of Windows, Linux, and operating system security mechanisms.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Experience deploying and configuring security technologies according to best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing security architectures, segmentation, and zero trust frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with workload, server, and network architectures and their associated security controls.
