What you will do
- Design and operationalize an enterprise crisis management framework covering cyber, physical, supply chain, operational, and geopolitical hazards.
- Define escalation models, crisis governance, decision-making structures, playbooks, communications, and response frameworks.
- Integrate incident handling across HR, Legal, Supply Chain, IT, Facilities, and other business functions.
- Lead tabletop exercises, scenario-based testing, preparedness activities, and continuous-improvement programs.
- Serve as Crisis Manager or Incident Commander during high-severity events, coordinating cross-functional response and senior-leadership communications.
- Lead post-incident reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and recovery transitions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in incident response or crisis management, including building programs or capabilities from the ground up.
- Experience influencing across multiple business functions, coordinating geographically distributed teams, and managing stakeholders without formal authority.
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-61, ISO 27035, Incident Command System, SANS incident handling, and business continuity standards.
- Mandatory familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and forensic analysis tools, plus all-hazard crisis management or enterprise resilience programs.
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIACs are expected.
