Product Champion (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fort Meade, MD, US; must work on the customer site 5 days/40 hours per week and travel up to 40% of the time CONUS and OCONUS.

Salary: $144,501–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Champion the Threat Awareness Sharing Capability (TASC) suite and conduct threat hunt operations on assigned Big Data Platforms.
• Assist customers with threat hunting, define operational requirements and gaps, and advise on data enrichment and platform functions.
• Analyze cyber data feeds, perform quality assurance, support analytic queries, and create visualizations, dashboards, and data products.
• Apply advanced statistical modeling to uncover patterns and communicate findings through customer-facing visualizations and interactive sessions.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, provide real-time customer support, support demonstrations and training events, and document data feeds and deliverables.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.
• At least 9 years of cybersecurity operations experience with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; 7 years with a related master's degree; or 13 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with DoW customers, ideally US Cyber Command, DISA, DCDC, or Service Cyber Components.
• Ability to present analysis to stakeholders with varying levels of data knowledge and to speak in public forums.
• Proficiency with query languages including SQL and KQL (Kusto), plus Python experience.
• Experience with Power BI or Superset dashboarding and visualizations.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Knowledge of cyber hunt methodologies, SIEMs such as Splunk, QRadar, and ELK, SOARs such as Sentinel, CORTEX, and X-SOAR, and threat detection signature development and deployment.
• Experience collecting cyber defense data, recognizing vulnerabilities and attacks, reading signatures such as SNORT, SIGMA, YARA, and YAML, and analyzing network traffic with TCPDUMP, Wireshark, or Zeek.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, incident response and handling, and IDS/IPS tools and applications.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to support training events in person or virtually and work on site in Fort Meade, MD 5 days/40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Jupyter notebooks experience.
• Data+, Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GNFA, GCFA, or another recognized cybersecurity certification.
• DoW SOC experience.
• Experience or familiarity with Big Data Platforms or Data Lake architectures.
