Night Shift Supervisor

Location: Armitage, United Kingdom; onsite warehouse role

What you will do

• Own a designated warehouse activity area, such as picking or dispatch.
• Monitor team performance and plan labour and equipment to meet shift productivity targets.
• Coordinate with other operational areas and leaders to resolve issues and maximise productivity.
• Maintain health and safety, 5S housekeeping, operational standards, and accurate SAP warehouse management.
• Identify and lead process-improvement projects where appropriate.
• Lead, develop, and motivate operatives while supporting problem-solving and closed-loop communication.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge of warehouse operations and internal processes.
• People-management, leadership, organisation, and planning skills.
• Ability to analyse shift performance, set priorities, and solve operational problems.
• Accurate use of IT systems and the SAP warehouse management system.
• Adaptability to work across multiple operational areas and support changing shift requirements.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
