Warehouse Supervisor - Nights - Core

Location: Weighbridge Rd, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK; onsite night-shift warehouse role

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors through regular one-to-ones, performance discussions, and SMART goals.
• Work with the Section Manager and warehouse leadership team to monitor shift delivery, operational plans, and key performance metrics.
• Drive an efficient warehouse operation that fulfils customer web and store demand on time and in full.
• Maintain high site-safety standards through inspections, hazard spotting, safety walks, risk assessments, and audits.
• Review labour plans, identify staffing gaps, and create action plans when daily or weekly targets are missed.
• Support strategic initiatives, culture change, employee engagement, and turnover reduction.

Requirements

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong potential for people and change management.
• Good systems skills and a customer-focused approach to operational management.
• Resilient, flexible, and approachable working style.
• Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.
• Ability to work onsite at the Mansfield-area warehouse location.
