Senior Architect Development Team Lead (Natural/ADABAS)

Location: US-Remote, Washington DC metropolitan area (DMV); hybrid work with intermittent onsite activity required.

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers supporting DCSA background investigation systems.
• Elicit and analyze requirements and design scalable solution architectures across multiple systems and subsystems.
• Support application development, testing, operations, maintenance, and enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security, development, and other support organizations.
• Develop Natural applications using ADABAS and NaturalONE.
• Maintain file-transfer processes, JCL batch processing, and IBM MQ queues and flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in large-scale application design and development, or equivalent experience.
• Expert proficiency with Natural and ADABAS, including Software AG’s NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years of project management experience and 5+ years defining requirements with customers.
• Experience designing solutions across multiple systems and working with cloud and on-premises infrastructure teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Active Top Secret clearance and ability to attain SCI clearance required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and Agile experience.
• Experience with IBM Connect:Direct, IBM MQ, Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Teams.
