Transaction Manager, Canada (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Canada; hybrid policy requiring staff to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Travel is required.

What you will do

• Identify Canadian data center capacity opportunities through relationships with developers, brokers, power providers, and other infrastructure partners.
• Lead RFP and commercial sourcing processes, including developer outreach, proposal evaluation, and competitive selection across multiple markets.
• Negotiate term sheets, manage LOIs, and translate technical and operational requirements into commercial agreements.
• Coordinate legal, technical, finance, operations, network, deployment, and government-relations stakeholders from sourcing through executed transactions.
• Manage transaction timelines, critical-path items, due diligence, risks, and the transition from LOI to construction-ready infrastructure development.
• Build transaction playbooks and support Anthropic’s long-term data center supply strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in transaction management, commercial real estate, data center leasing, or infrastructure procurement.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions from sourcing through execution.
• Strong negotiation experience with term sheets, LOIs, commercial agreements, and complex lease or infrastructure transactions.
• Experience with RFP processes, competitive sourcing, and large-scale infrastructure or real estate transactions.
• Expertise in the Canadian leasing and compute space, with strong project management, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center or hyperscale infrastructure transactions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure requirements, including power density, cooling, and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with data center developers, utility coordination, power procurement, and energy considerations.
• Background in corporate development, strategic partnerships, infrastructure investment, or high-growth technology companies.
