PZ Operations Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee daily operation of the PZ asset, including process control, operator rounds, sampling, troubleshooting, and response to process deviations.
• Lead four Shift Team Leads and one Operations Maintenance Coordinator, with indirect responsibility for Outside Operators.
• Coordinate operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering, HSES, and work execution priorities.
• Ensure safe, environmentally compliant, and reliable execution of operations, maintenance, projects, and turnaround activities.
• Manage operating procedures, training, performance management, coaching, overtime, inventories, and resource priorities.
• Monitor mechanical integrity, process safety, KPI, cost-control, production, and efficiency requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• 10+ years of plant operations experience, including significant process troubleshooting, and 5+ years of Console Operator experience.
• Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership competencies; a Process Technology degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of chemical and industrial equipment, process safety management, safe work practices, environmental requirements, emergency response, and chemical handling.
• Ability to understand PFDs and P&IDs; mechanical aptitude and experience with Microsoft Office, PI Process Book, LIMS Sample Manager, and SAP.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship, hold or obtain a TWIC card before the first day, and have a valid U.S. motor vehicle license.

Nice to have

• Process Technology (P-Tech) degree.
• Additional supervisory experience and demonstrated success in safety leadership, conflict resolution, people development, and performance management.
