Multi Craft-Maintenance Technician-12hr (Rotating Swing)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA — West Facility; onsite, 12-hour rotating swing shifts

Salary: Starting at $38.80 per hour, plus an overnight shift differential

hirify.global operates a manufacturing facility producing and distributing disinfecting wipes using automated packaging equipment and utilities.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, and control systems.
• Diagnose motor, motor-control, VFD, PLC, servo-motor, and automated packaging equipment failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, execute work orders, manage critical spare parts, and maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records.
• Use SAP, Microsoft Office, FactoryTalk, Process Book, and related software to research equipment, find parts, track work, and troubleshoot systems.
• Perform machining, fabrication, pipe fitting, welding, rigging, shaft alignment, and mechanical drive maintenance.
• Respond professionally to equipment breakdowns while working with limited supervision and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Requirements

• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent technical college and/or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, pumps, lubrication, bearings, seals, belts, and chains.
• Required experience with RSLogix Studio 5000, including PLC-to-computer connections through RSLinx, tags and I/O, and ladder-routine programming.
• Ability to read schematics, ladder logic, technical manuals, drawings, and P&IDs; locate PLC I/O; use a multimeter; and wire three-phase motors.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, welding and rigging equipment, man-lifts, mills, lathes, band saws, presses, and pipe-threading equipment.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, self-motivation, dependable attendance, and commitment to plant safety and company policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or another computerized maintenance management system.
• Experience or familiarity with servo motion control systems.
• Additional vendor training in machining, electricity, or welding.
