House Manager (Behavioral Health)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, USA. In-office role with Monday–Friday hours, site supervision responsibilities, and an on-call rotation that includes weekends and odd hours.

Salary: Up to $62,300 per year. Starting salary is listed as $62,300 annually.

What you will do

• Lead residential programs, including high-acuity behavioral homes in AFH settings.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop Direct Support Professional teams.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans and partner on Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Lead crisis responses and ensure safe, consistent, and compliant practices.
• Collaborate with families, case managers, and clinical teams to coordinate quality care.
• Manage staffing, budgets, compliance, performance management, and on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, challenging behaviors, and behavioral interventions.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Behavior Support Plans.
• Experience with crisis management, de-escalation, and high-risk behaviors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance required.

• Experience in residential, group home, or behavioral health settings.
