Structural EIT (Engineer in Training) (Structural Engineering)

Location: Denver, CO, USA; onsite/office-based position

Salary: $78,000–$83,000 annual, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation projects.
• Assist with engineering calculations, code reviews, and standards research.
• Prepare and review structural sketches, plans, details, specifications, and design calculations.
• Support design and Construction Administration activities, including construction observations.
• Collaborate with architects and civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Participate in project meetings and work across varied project groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering from an accredited institution.
• 0–2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training status and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar tools.
• Ability to review structural construction drawings and interpret building codes and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for business travel.
