TL;DR
Principal Architect - Cloud & AI Engineering (Azure/Kubernetes/React): Defining and driving enterprise-scale digital products and platforms across frontend, backend, APIs, data, cloud, and AI with an accent on cloud-native architecture, modern frontend systems, and enterprise AI adoption. Focus on designing distributed systems, governing Generative AI and RAG solutions, leading architecture reviews, and solving complex engineering challenges with senior stakeholders.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end architecture across frontend, backend, APIs, data, cloud, and AI platforms.
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions using Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Architect enterprise web applications and define standards for micro-frontends, reusable UI components, design systems, performance, accessibility, security, and observability.
- Drive API integration, platform modernization, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and engineering best practices.
- Architect and govern AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and LLMOps patterns.
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineering teams, and advise technology and business stakeholders in a client-facing role.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant architecture leadership responsibility.
- Experience as a Principal Architect, Principal Engineer, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent, with meaningful hands-on engineering depth.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, Apache Kafka, API Management, and distributed systems.
- Strong frontend architecture experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, micro-frontends, and design systems.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, observability platforms, and at least working knowledge of Java, .NET, or Python.
- Experience with Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, Azure OpenAI, AI governance, executive communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience in CPG, retail, manufacturing, or supply chain.
- Experience with Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, AI orchestration frameworks, or relevant Azure and Kubernetes certifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
