Software Engineer, Automation and Tooling, IAR (Embedded Software)

What you will do

• Build and improve test tools, test frameworks, and automation.
• Make software testing easier, faster, and more reliable.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows and ensure they run smoothly.
• Work with builds and packaging across Windows and Linux.
• Improve existing tools, codebases, and development infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Software Test Engineers and developers to build effective testing solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on programming or scripting experience with Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Interest in and experience with automation, developer tools, test tools, or related software.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and tools such as Git or GitLab.
• Willingness to work across different languages, tools, and codebases, including Perl and Python.
• Good communication skills in English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as pytest or Squish.
• Familiarity with C++, embedded systems, compilers, debuggers, IDEs, CMake, or related development toolchains.
• Exposure to Windows and Linux environments, cloud technologies, containers, or build and packaging workflows.
