What you will do

• Provide nursing services ordered in each patient’s plan of care.
• Implement care plans, evaluate their effectiveness, and recommend revisions when appropriate.
• Perform trained and authorized nursing procedures while supporting patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Record observations and treatments according to agency policies.
• Report unusual symptoms, changes in patient condition, and potential problems to the appropriate person, RN, or case manager.
• Participate in case conferences, the nursing process, and performance-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in the State of Florida and graduated from an approved school of nursing.
• At least one year of current experience in an accredited hospital or nursing home, with two years of previous experience before employment.
• Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Florida Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Ability to comply with state regulations, agency policies, HIPAA privacy rules, and applicable nursing requirements.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and Spanish or Creole communication skills.
• High-tech nursing certification, where applicable.
