What you will do

• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of critical facilities and specialized equipment.
• Conduct scientific experiments, laboratory tests, and acceptance procedures independently or with senior technical personnel.
• Program computer-controlled automated and semi-automated equipment.
• Produce complex deliverable hardware through precise manual and automated production work.
• Document work using handwritten records and common computer-based software.
• Train, mentor, or supervise junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering or science, with a bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of relevant technical schooling, or completion of military technical school.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience when the education requirement is met, or 15 years when it is not.
• Highly specialized production skills, strong attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Secret government security clearance is required and must be obtained and maintained.
