TL;DR
IT Support Technician (Windows): Providing onsite desktop and hardware support for end users in a busy corporate environment with an accent on Windows 10/11, laptop deployment, and equipment lifecycle management. Focus on configuring and troubleshooting hardware, commissioning and decommissioning IT equipment, preparing devices for employees, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Location: Portland, Oregon; onsite 5 days a week; US-based candidates only
Salary: $15–$20 per hour on W2

What you will do
- Provide onsite IT and desktop support to end users.
- Support Windows 10/11 environments and troubleshoot desktop issues.
- Configure, deploy, commission, and decommission laptops and other IT equipment.
- Prepare hardware for new starters and departing employees.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and collecting IT equipment.
- Collaborate with the global IT team while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- Experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11.
- Experience with laptops and IT hardware, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Experience commissioning and decommissioning IT equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Portland, Oregon; US-based candidates only.
