Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite role

What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, support schedules, and management reports.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Analyze financial results, cost variances, and purchase price variance reports and forecasts.
• Partner with Supply Chain and other business functions on assumptions, risks, opportunities, and operational decisions.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards using Excel and Power Query to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits, statutory and tax requirements, internal controls, and finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company.
• Strong experience with General Ledger Accounting, Cost Accounting, financial reporting, and close processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must work onsite in Suzhou, China.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query and Oracle ERP.
• Experience working with regional or global finance teams.
