Senior Accountant - External Reporting

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Wilmington, Delaware headquarters, United States

What you will do

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual filings, consolidated financial statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, and management reporting.
• Manage disclosure checklists, trial balance refreshes, Workiva link publishing, financial statement reviews, and quarterly flux processes.
• Coordinate audit requests, disclosure support, auditor and management comments, and disclosure committee activities.
• Support accounting and reporting for term loans, revolving credit facilities, notes, refinancings, debt modifications, extinguishments, and other financing transactions.
• Prepare debt journal entries, interest accruals, amortization schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, technical accounting memos, equity accounting entries, and diluted EPS calculations.
• Operate and improve internal controls and reporting processes using Workiva, Excel, OneStream, SAP, and other tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting research.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, spreadsheet optimization, lookups, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and data summarization formulas.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• CPA license or active pursuit of a CPA license.
