Refined Products Inventory Analyst (Oil & Chemicals)

What you will do

• Map and classify refined-product storage assets, blending units, and interconnection networks.
• Validate satellite, aerial, and thermal imagery to assess tank structures, capacities, and operational changes.
• Design and streamline workflows for terminal onboarding, quality assurance, and automated data processing.
• Integrate refinery storage, blending, pipeline, barge, truck, and ship context into market datasets.
• Lead expansion of inventory coverage from European and North American hubs to new global regions.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, commercial, and product teams on methodology, feedback, and sales enablement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in inventory intelligence, terminal logistics, or oil market data analytics and operations.
• Experience using satellite, aerial, or thermal imagery to validate asset structures and extract operational intelligence.
• Strong data-handling skills with Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to work autonomously, build operational workflows from scratch, and resolve detailed data-quality issues.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of refined-products storage infrastructure, including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, tank functions, blending, and dispatch.
• Experience working across product, engineering, and commercial teams in a commodity or market-data environment.
