TL;DR
Senior AI Software Engineer (C#/.NET, Python, NLP/LLMs): Building functional applications and AI/ML solutions by translating business requirements into product use cases, with an accent on generative AI, natural language processing, and large language model deployment. Focus on fine-tuning and optimizing models, deploying cloud-based microservices, and implementing secure, containerized CI/CD solutions.
Location: Hybrid in Porto, with 3 days per week onsite. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do
- Translate business requirements into functional applications and innovative AI/ML solutions.
- Develop and integrate generative AI, NLP, and LLM capabilities for product use cases.
- Fine-tune, deploy, and optimize pretrained models using Hugging Face and LLM frameworks.
- Build and deploy custom models and microservices on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
- Apply trusted AI practices, API security, and data privacy principles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning, generative AI, or data science, with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, .NET, Hugging Face, GPT, and Transformers.
- Experience with Azure or AWS, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI/CD.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English at B2 level and availability for hybrid work in Porto are required. Candidates must have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit.
