Principal Solutions Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote in Australia. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Partner with the CTO, Field CTO, Customer Success, Product Management, R&D, and sales teams throughout the sales process.
• Provide technical and business feedback from customer engagements to improve product positioning and value messaging.
• Support strategic opportunities by demonstrating the technical and business value of the Wiz platform.
• Assist solutions engineers and prospects with advanced proof-of-concept use cases, deployment, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Lead thought-leadership sessions for field teams and support platform messaging with prospects and customers.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in core IT, information security, cloud, and DevOps.
• Professional experience focused on public cloud architecture with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to code and understand developer workflows, including Git, CI/CD, Helm, and Terraform.
• Strong computer networking knowledge and hands-on cloud networking experience.
• Ability to lead discussions with technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Legal right to work in Australia without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and containers, including architecting and troubleshooting complex environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting multiple Kubernetes distributions.
• Knowledge of ASM methodologies, network reconnaissance, cloud security, and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience leading security architecture discussions and maintaining technical leadership through continuous learning.
