Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week onsite in the San Francisco FiDi or Culver City office

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 USD

What you will do

• Harden a multi-account AWS environment as the cloud platform scales.
• Build cloud security guardrails as code.
• Own cloud vulnerability and exposure management.
• Partner with Detection & Response on investigations involving cloud-origin events.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, including IAM, organizations and SCPs, KMS, and networking.
• Security experience with Kubernetes or EKS.
• Experience with Terraform, CSPM tooling such as Wiz, and scripting or automation with Python or Go.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, ownership, resilience, technical aptitude, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments, fintech, or financial services.
• AWS Security Specialty, CKS, or other relevant certifications.
