What you will do
- Coordinate garment development, pre-production activities, sample orders, and shipment deadlines.
- Manage sample production, costing, development packages, PDM updates, and bulk-costing preparation.
- Coordinate internal production and washing processes to meet quality standards and targeted lead times.
- Review garments for production readiness, inspect quality before laundering and shipment, and monitor production progress.
- Translate English PDM documents into Chinese workbooks and clarify development discrepancies with US teams.
- Monitor junior team members, balance workloads, prepare operational reports, and support supervisors and US designers on development issues.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant experience in the garment industry.
- Experience with garment development and bulk production processes, including quality checkpoints and delivery tracking.
- Knowledge of garments; jeanswear experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- College degree or above and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
