Production Senior Planner/Assistant Manager (MedTech)

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China; onsite production planning role

What you will do

• Lead production and capacity planning for suture export manufacturing.
• Manage immediate and medium-term production schedules for production units at the Suzhou manufacturing plant.
• Integrate customer delivery requirements, materials availability, and plant efficiency needs into manufacturing plans.
• Support the Master Production Schedule and coordinate code-level schedules with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and other business partners.
• Monitor inventory, backorders, delivery commitments, and deviations from the production schedule.
• Support product launches, materials planning, Lean initiatives, and digital planning improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in workshop or manufacturing planning.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in Industry or Computer Science is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing planning, supply chain principles, MRP, and MPS.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and digital data analysis skills.
• Very good English and a collaborative, task-focused working style.
• Ability to follow applicable health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.

Nice to have

• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• SAP experience.
• Digital project management experience.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• CPIM or CSCP certification.
