Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-level) (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; onsite manufacturing and clean-room work may be required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Entry-level profile; 1–2 years of semiconductor or other industry experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of the semiconductor industry gained through education or experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite, including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.
