Production Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Jurong Island, Singapore

What you will do

• Lead the Operations organization and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
• Set performance expectations and accountability for supervisors, coordinators, and operations personnel.
• Champion Zero Harm practices, conduct field engagement and safety observations, and support EHS compliance.
• Drive workforce development, succession planning, competency management, and operational discipline.
• Ensure production commitments are achieved while maintaining safety, quality, environmental, and reliability standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, while leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, energy, pharmaceutical, or related process industries.
• At least 5 years of people leadership experience in an operations environment.
• Strong understanding of process safety and operational risk management.
• Experience leading multiple organizational levels, driving operational performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing facility.
