Associate Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site customer work with 12-hour rotating shifts, standby duty, and short-notice overseas travel.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine entry-level service actions on equipment.
• Prepare tools and parts and complete predefined hardware actions using established procedures.
• Support in-fab logistics by recording engineering information for returned parts and tools.
• Provide daily operational and administrative system updates.
• Follow cleanroom health, safety, and 5S requirements.
• Support and guide new team members during orientation and training.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Fresh diploma graduates or Higher NITEC holders with 1–2 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to understand and accurately follow procedures and instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, perform standby duty, and work on site at customer locations.
• Ability to travel overseas on short notice.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and gowning procedures.
• Comfort working night shifts.
