Senior Account Specialist (Accounts Payable)

What you will do

• Manage and optimize accounts payable processes, including VMI, purchase order, non-purchase order, staff claim, freight, and other invoices.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoice processing in line with internal procedures, audits, and external regulations.
• Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, other internal departments, and external vendors to maintain efficient payment processes.
• Identify automation and AI opportunities to improve accounts payable workflows and operational efficiency.
• Issue debit notes after approval and complete additional accounts payable duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar accounts payable capacity.
• Hands-on, meticulous, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read Chinese and communicate with suppliers in China.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
