Account Receivable Specialist (SAP)

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Publish accurate daily cash receipt and cash balancing reports.
• Validate collection instructions and perform debit/credit matching in SAP while maintaining segregation-of-duties controls.
• Investigate unidentified payments and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies with Collection Analysts and Risk Managers.
• Process refunds and write-offs and provide monthly cash reporting.
• Maintain and improve cash application processes, tools, and systems.
• Support internal and external audit inquiries and complete assigned ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
• Understanding of accounts receivable operations and controls, including cash application, reconciliations, payment matching, refunds, write-offs, month-end close, and audit support.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a control and compliance mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI, Power Apps, UiPath, KNIME, Python, or other automation and digital transformation tools that have delivered measurable business value.
• Experience driving process, system, or automation enhancements.
