Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Noida, India; hybrid model with office attendance two days per week and remote work on other days

What you will do

• Administer and support Data Management and GAIN SaaS environments for internal and external clients.
• Build and manage Azure cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM, including infrastructure for new client onboarding.
• Develop Azure DevOps pipelines and automation scripts with PowerShell and Python to improve deployments and reduce manual work.
• Support the migration of live client environments from AWS to Azure and maintain reliable release processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, incident management, root cause analysis, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
• Apply DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles, maintain SOC2-related operational reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, including cloud platform management in the financial sector.
• Extensive experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps pipelines, Terraform or Ansible, and scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration, Oracle, PL/SQL, XML, VMware, Citrix, AWS Lambda, and CI/CD tooling.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana, plus ITIL, ITOps, security operations, and compliance frameworks such as SOC2.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in agile cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with readiness to provide rotational weekend or on-call support.
