TL;DR
AWS Solutions Expert (AWS/Cloud Migration): Designing, building, and migrating complex workloads to AWS, including secure landing zones, modernized VMware environments, and cloud BAU operations with an accent on scalable architecture, security, automation, and governance. Focus on planning migration strategies, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, optimizing cloud performance and cost, and supporting Japan non-business-hours operations.
Location: Gurugram, India. Night shift: 9:30 PM IST – 5:30 AM IST to support Japan non-business-hours cloud operations.

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures and multi-account landing zones.
- Modernize on-premises VMware workloads using AWS services, including migration to EC2, re-platforming, and refactoring.
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects covering assessments, dependency mapping, migration strategy, and risk mitigation.
- Use CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, scalability, security, and governance.
- Document architectures and operational procedures, and provide cloud adoption training to internal teams and clients.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a solutions expert or in a similar role, including 8+ years working specifically with AWS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, and SNS.
- Experience with AWS security, compliance, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, GuardDuty, certificate management, encryption keys, and load balancers.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Datadog, and cloud-native scripting.
- Proven experience designing AWS landing zones and executing cloud migrations with tools such as AWS Migration Hub and AWS Server Migration Service.
- Availability for the 9:30 PM IST – 5:30 AM IST shift is required.
Nice to have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud strategies, serverless architecture, and microservices design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
