Technical Leader (m/f/d)

Location: Ulm, Germany; on-site five days per week. Ability to work at various locations and support field-service activities at short notice is required.

hirify.global and its Thermo King business provide sustainable climate and transport refrigeration solutions, while tkv Transport-Kälte-Vertrieb GmbH operates as a Thermo King sales and service partner in Southern Germany.

What you will do

• Lead the Training Center, trainers, and Technical Service Managers.
• Maintain and improve technical, installation, service, and quality standards across regional field-service teams.
• Coach and mentor service and installation engineers and deliver practical technical training.
• Support complex technical issues, critical customer cases, sales enquiries, and fleet-management activities.
• Organize the warranty function, manage technical communication with the manufacturer, and drive initiatives that reduce repeat repairs.
• Work with the Service Manager and General Manager on network development, recruitment, operational issues, and health-and-safety matters.

Requirements

• Solid experience in the transport refrigeration industry and extensive knowledge of transport refrigeration systems.
• Understanding of engineering and service processes, including PPE, vehicles, tools, and spare parts.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and sound basic mathematics and English skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Ulm and at other locations as business needs require.

• Electrical qualification or certification.
• Mechanical or engineering qualification or certification.
• Experience leading and developing employees in the transport refrigeration industry.
