Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, with comfortable working time zones from GMT-1 to GMT+8. The working language is Russian.

Salary: $72,000–90,000 gross per year, paid through Deel.

Develops a browser-based document editor for uploading, converting, merging, splitting, signing, watermarking, redacting, and password-protecting files, with AI features and a large public user base.

What you will do

• Own product features end to end, from shaping ideas with design and product teams to measuring their impact.
• Build reusable and performant React modules, from shared UI components to complex stateful editor views.
• Develop supporting backend functionality with Cloud Functions, Firestore data models, security rules, and API contracts.
• Translate designs into accurate, accessible interfaces with reliable hotkey and keyboard-navigation behavior.
• Profile and optimize rendering, bundle size, and real-time interactions in the document editor.
• Review pull requests and maintain authorization, tenant isolation, and input validation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant hands-on backend, frontend, or full-stack experience.
• Experience building complex user interfaces for public products with a sizeable audience, including editors, drag-and-drop interactions, collaborative mechanics, or client-side computation.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills, including render behavior, state ownership, and performance analysis.
• Production experience with a Node.js backend and willingness to implement backend work for owned features.
• Product and design sensibility, with attention to interaction quality, conversion, accessibility, and visual accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously, including collaboration with AI agents through instructions, code style specifications, and internal tooling.

• Experience with GCP, Firebase, Terraform, and Docker.
