Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer (Identity Security)

Location: Ireland - Remote; hybrid or remote hiring is supported. In-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

What you will do

• Design, operate, and improve enterprise identity services for authentication, federation, access management, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Build identity platform services supporting workforce, cloud, and enterprise application access.
• Deliver identity integrations for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, application onboarding, and platform consolidation.
• Create reusable integration standards, automation, operational patterns, and runbooks.
• Implement and support SSO, MFA, conditional access, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, and directory integrations.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams while troubleshooting issues and improving monitoring, incident response, reliability, and security hardening.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience engineering identity and access management solutions.
• Experience integrating, modernizing, or migrating IAM capabilities across public cloud and on-premises enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos, and SCIM.
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping, SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar technologies, plus strong identity security and risk management knowledge.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or relevant security, identity, or cloud certifications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, hybrid environments, DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, API integrations, and platform engineering.
• Experience with enterprise transformation programs, identity-related mergers and acquisitions, or application rationalization.
• Experience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, or influencing cross-functional technical direction.
