TL;DR
Systems Developer Engineer, Security Integrations Group (SIG) Infrastructure (AWS/Ansible): Maintaining and automating Amazon’s global physical security infrastructure across cloud-based and on-premise environments with an accent on AWS, Windows infrastructure, security hardware, and vulnerability remediation. Focus on developing PowerShell and Python tooling, supporting CCTV and access-control systems, and solving complex infrastructure issues through automation and standardization.
Location: Madrid, Spain; engineers are available in-office at all times

Worldwide Operations Security develops and supports physical security systems and infrastructure for Operations globally.
What you will do
- Maintain, optimize, and automate cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure across global security systems.
- Manage AWS infrastructure with AWS Console and Ansible, including monthly patching and system updates.
- Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities through testing and validation.
- Develop automation and tooling with PowerShell, Python, YAML, and React.
- Support critical infrastructure issues, Mercury security hardware, access-control systems, and CCTV systems.
- Lead technical projects, improve support processes, collaborate with Operations teams, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and infrastructure.
- Understanding of version control, debugging, code structure, and other software development concepts.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and systems.
- Availability to work in-office in Madrid as part of a 24/7 support organization.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
- Familiarity with Ansible, YAML, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
