What you will do

• Lead system- and component-level failure analysis for customer returns, new product introductions, and factory yield excursions.
• Perform hands-on electrical and physical analysis of EVSE, AC/DC and DC/DC converters, PCBA, components, and cable harnesses.
• Define and execute functional testing, circuit analysis, probing, fault isolation, and failure duplication plans.
• Interpret test data and document findings in formal failure analysis reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to identify root causes.
• Drive corrective and preventive action closure while maintaining quality KPIs and investigation databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience; relevant coursework, capstone projects, internships, and new graduates are accepted.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and component data sheets.
• Familiarity with PCBAs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, relays, cable harnesses, and their failure mechanisms.
• Exposure to digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, optical microscopy, and 2D/3D X-ray analysis.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
