Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern (Risk Consulting)

Location: Houston, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required

What you will do

• Support consulting projects and participate in client meetings.
• Contribute to internal audit, SOX compliance, and financial reporting control projects.
• Prepare reports on consulting services, present findings, and discuss recommendations with clients.
• Analyze client information and document results using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Complete client projects in line with project timelines and critical dates.
• Travel to client locations as required and participate in relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree at an accredited university, with expected completion by December 2027 or June 2028.
• Major in Accounting, Finance, or Data & Analytics; Accounting is preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to travel to assigned client locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism; CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred but not required.
