CAAS Projects Advisory Associate

What you will do

• Support project-based accounting and finance engagements, including cash-to-accrual conversions, accounting cleanup, remediation, and interim accounting support.
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting schedules, and engagement deliverables.
• Help improve accounting processes and support ERP or accounting system transitions.
• Gather and analyze customer information, investigate variances and accounting issues, and develop practical solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings and communicate with Controllers, accounting teams, Seniors, Managers, and Directors.
• Manage deadlines across multiple engagements while communicating progress, risks, and barriers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Typically 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting audit or comparable experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, journal entries, or accounting schedules.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and communicate directly with customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel and Word.

Nice to have

• CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure.
• Experience in CAAS/CAS, outsourced accounting, accounting advisory, or operational accounting.
• Experience with accounting cleanup, cash-to-accrual conversions, process improvement, or ERP systems.
• Experience with private equity-backed, healthcare, biotech, life sciences, distribution, manufacturing, or growth-oriented organizations.
