Sourcing Manager, Kids&Baby Apparel (Retail)

What you will do

• Analyze business needs and identify, vet, pitch, sign, and onboard kids and baby apparel vendors.
• Establish clear test-period criteria and assess new partners’ ability to scale.
• Manage supplier relationships through onboarding training, performance management, and regular business reviews.
• Improve supplier operations, product costs, quality, commercial terms, replenishment speed, and capacity.
• Partner with merchants, procurement, and vendors to optimize pricing and achieve margin targets.
• Ensure responsible sourcing, manage supply risks, and develop backup vendors and contingency strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in kids and baby categories.
• Background in supply chain management or operations within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical, data-driven, and process-improvement skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, curious, adaptable, and able to learn independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and with vendor partners.
