Senior Project/Programme Manager (Telecom): Leading complex, strategic transformation programmes across multiple business units with an accent on programme planning, governance, commercial outcomes, and delivery control. Focus on coordinating matrix teams, managing senior stakeholders and risks, and delivering large-scale programmes on time, within budget, and through transition into BAU operations.
Location: Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office in Bristol, Manchester, London, or Birmingham, United Kingdom

What you will do
- Develop and deliver strategic transformation programme plans for complex, high-impact business initiatives.
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery across multiple projects, teams, internal specialists, and external partners.
- Manage programme governance, controls, milestones, quality standards, budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes.
- Lead and develop matrix delivery teams, providing direction on scope, requirements, timelines, costs, and quality.
- Communicate programme status and transformation delivery through governance forums and senior stakeholder channels.
- Support transition from initial concept through market launch and into business-as-usual operations.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project and Programme Manager delivering complex solutions and mobilising large programmes end to end.
- Advanced project management qualification such as MSP, APM RPP, PRINCE2, APM, or SAFe.
- Experience managing complex programmes involving financial and budget management, stakeholder management, escalations, communication plans, and risk.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to lead matrix teams, influence senior stakeholders up to ELT level, challenge programme direction, and remove delivery barriers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, decision-making, coaching, and strategic thinking skills.
