Senior Programme Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; occasional travel within the UK.

What you will do

• Support the Programme Manager with day-to-day coordination to achieve programme objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain the customer interface and translate customer requirements into clear programme objectives for all functions.
• Negotiate with customers and strategic suppliers on schedules, contracts, and other programme issues.
• Identify work outside the contract scope and prepare related claims.
• Coordinate programme budgets and plans, while monitoring targets and key risks through management information and meaningful metrics.
• Lead multifunctional teams and deputise for the Programme Manager when required.

Requirements

• Minimum HNC in engineering or a business-related subject.
• At least three years of relevant project or programme management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in cross-functional or multifunctional teams, with strong facilitation and team leadership skills.
• Experience implementing automated reporting, KPI generation, and planning solutions.
• Clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work at both site and group level.
• Successful applicants will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks, including a criminal record check.

Nice to have

• Experience in a project environment and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite structures.
• Knowledge of design toolsets and IT skills related to engineering activities.
