Software Engineer – Lead Web and Mobile UI/UX (React)

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, United States; hybrid schedule with time spent in the office and at home

Salary: $160,000–$170,000 annual cash compensation

What you will do

• Design, code, debug, document, and implement performance-based mobile and web applications with real-time functional dependencies.
• Apply full-stack development knowledge with a focus on front-end functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with project members, customers, and management throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead, educate, and support team members on current technologies and engineering best practices.
• Develop UI validation tests using behavior-driven development principles and support mobile application deployment strategies.
• Work with cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, containers, SaaS integrations, geographic systems, and 3D geometries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least six years of front-end and/or full-stack development experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, React Native, Angular, and CSS.
• Knowledge of IoT messaging protocols such as MQTT or NATS, plus RESTful and publish/subscribe architectures.
• Experience with front-end tooling, state management, agile development, cloud platforms, CI/CD systems, UX tools, and containerized deployment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. No travel or physical demands are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app deployment and cross-platform or hybrid applications.
• Experience with GPS or other geographic systems, 3D geometries, and SaaS services such as Salesforce or QuickBooks.
