What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pretest-room environment.
• Explain preliminary examination procedures and complete required patient paperwork.
• Perform pre-screening and testing before the doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings for eligible patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, identify special needs, and consult with the optician, doctor, or retail management when needed.
• Maintain doctor and pretest equipment.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge, terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Ability to provide clear and concise instructions to customers.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
