What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pretest room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and provide clear instructions to patients.
• Complete paperwork, perform exam pre-screening, and conduct patient testing before the doctor’s examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings for eligible patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, identify special needs, and consult with the optician, doctor, or retail management as needed.
• Maintain doctor and pretest equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge, ocular terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Clear and concise communication with customers.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Nice to have

• Previous retail or optical experience.
