Tech Lead (TypeScript/React)

Location: Fully remote, based in the United States

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a CareHub engineering pod of approximately five individual contributors while continuing hands-on development.
• Write code, lead design reviews, review pull requests, and collaborate with and coach engineers.
• Shape the CareHub technical roadmap with other technical leads and the Head of Applications/R&D.
• Establish engineering standards, prioritize technical debt, and guide architectural improvements.
• Partner with Product Management and UX to turn user stories into technical tickets and validate feature feasibility.
• Work with Customer Support and Product to triage customer feedback and bugs.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a senior software engineer or technical lead building fullstack web applications with TypeScript and React.
• Strong technical ability, product mindset, problem-solving skills, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and strong intuition for risky code and edge cases.
• Ability to consider data access boundaries when working with sensitive healthcare information.
• Must be based in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a tech lead or technical team lead.
• Experience scaling web applications or working on large-scale production systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
• Healthcare experience or experience in another high-security industry.
