BIM Coordinator

Location: The role is subject to security and export control restrictions; higher-level vetting typically requires 5–10 years of continuous residency in the UK.

What you will do

• Coordinate, review, and federate multidisciplinary BIM models from design teams and supply chain partners.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and produce reports tracking actions through resolution.
• Facilitate model review workshops, coordination meetings, and interface management between contractors and design organisations.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against project requirements, BIM Execution Plans, and relevant standards.
• Carry out model quality assurance reviews and maintain coordination registers, action trackers, and KPI dashboards.
• Support Common Data Environment workflows, stakeholder guidance, and continuous improvement of BIM processes.

Requirements

• Experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM delivery role.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, Asset Information Requirements, BIM processes, and BIM Execution Plans.
• Practical experience with Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Revit models, model federation, clash detection, and dashboard reporting.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to chair and facilitate coordination meetings and engage project stakeholders.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance is required; additional vetting may require 5–10 years of continuous UK residency.

Nice to have

• Experience with ProjectWise, Asite, Opentree, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Background in major infrastructure, nuclear, defence, or transportation projects.
• Experience producing BIM metrics and reports with Power BI.
• Knowledge of asset information and digital handover requirements.
• SC security clearance and relevant Autodesk or BIM qualifications.
